In the men's 10000 meter race, Indian athlete Gu Singh won the championship. Yu Shuiqing of the Chinese team achieved a personal best of 28 minutes and 57.39 seconds, ranking fifth, while another Chinese player, Mao Jinhu, ranked 13th.
In the preliminary rounds of multiple competition events held on that day, famous players such as Liang Xiaojing, He Jinlong, and Liu Dezhu all advanced smoothly.
