As of the close of trading on that day, the price of the December delivery of light crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by 83 cents, closing at $60.74 per barrel, an increase of 1.39%; the price of the January delivery of Brent crude oil on the London Mercantile Exchange rose by 69 cents, closing at $64.89 per barrel, an increase of 1.07%.
