As of the close of trading on that day, the price of April-delivery light crude oil futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $3.33 to $74.56 per barrel, an increase of 4.67%; the price of May-delivery Brent crude oil futures on the London Mercantile Exchange rose by $3.66 to $81.40 per barrel, an increase of 4.71%.
